UNSW | Research Associate
Dr Valentin Heimhuber is an emerging researcher and expert in modelling and assessing climate change impacts in estuaries.
He is a Research Associate with the UNSW Water Research Laboratory, responsible for the development of management guidelines and various research outcomes as part of the Estuarine Risk Assessment and Strategic Responses Project (NSW Office of Environment and Heritage).
Valentin specialises in the application of advanced computational methods, big data and statistics for water resources management. He is currently using climate model projections and hydrodynamic modelling to study the impacts of climate change on estuaries in NSW and Australia.
