Danial Khojasteh

UNSW | PhD Scholar

Danial Khojasteh is a Scientia PhD Scholar at the UNSW Sydney Water Research Laboratory researching the impacts of sea level rise in estuaries at a global scale.

Danial holds a Master’s degree from School of Mechanical Engineering, Shiraz University, and worked at its High Performance Computing Centre which provided him extensive experience in mechanical engineering, ocean engineering, and numerical modelling.

Thanks to his excellent research and publication track record, he has been awarded the prestigious UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship for undertaking a PhD in the field of climate change in estuaries. He is currently developing a hydrodynamic modelling tool to better predict the physical impacts of sea level rise in estuaries and to determine the associated risks at the global level.
